What happens first?
At the first point of contact (e mail or phone), we will agree a mutually convenient day and time for an initial session, which allows you the chance to meet me and find out more about the way I work. During this meeting I will assess your needs and agree a way of working together. From then on, appointments are agreed on a sessional basis.
How long are the sessions?
All my sessions are an hour long. I leave ten minutes or so at the end to summarise our work and agree further appointments.
How do I know if I’m making progress?
During our work together, we will regularly review how you feel things are going for you. If there is anything we need to adapt or change, this will be agreed between us. People progress at different rates and there is no prior expectation.
How long will I need therapy?
Again, everyone has differing needs and my therapy is ‘open ended’ meaning you can access therapy for as long as you require help. Again, this will be monitored between ourselves.
